With more than 12.3 million women-owned businesses making up more than 39% of the 28 million small businesses in the U.S., supporting local and supporting women-owned businesses go hand in hand. These businesses account for more than $1.8 trillion in revenue and employ 9.2 million people. * This year in honor of International Women’s Day on Friday, March 8, we invite you to stay loyal to local women and check out a few of the amazing women-owned businesses in the Richmond area.
