Mark your calendars for the weekend of March 25 & 26th 2017, Artful Healing!
The 4th annual fine art show benefitting the Richmond-based World Pediatric Project is presented by the Bon Air Artists Association (BAAA) and First Tennessee Bank and features Richmond-area premier and emerging artists. Artful Healing is held at the University of Richmond’s Jepson Alumni Center. The non-profit World Pediatric Project links pediatric surgical, diagnostic and preventative resources to heal critically ill children in developing countries in the Caribbean and Central America and is well-known for arranging the 2011 surgical separation of the conjoined twins from the Dominican Republic here at MCV.
On March 25th & 26th, Richmonders will be able to purchase fine original art from over 75 regional artists, with a percentage of the proceeds from art sold during these two days donated to WPP.
In addition, the proceeds from a raffle of several donated artworks will go to the WPP and a portion of the funds raised to produce the exhibit will be donated to the WPP as well.
The goal of the BAAA is to raise more than $20,000 this year, with more than $60,000 raised to benefit World Pediatric Project’s mission in the first three years.
